JoyRidr is a route planner and navigator for motorcyclists. It works without an account, and we keep as little about you as possible.
What stays on your phone
Rides you record (tracks, distances, times and speeds), saved routes, your settings, bike name and home location are stored only on your device. They leave it only if you share a GPX file yourself.
What is sent to servers, and why
To plan routes and show useful information, JoyRidr sends map coordinates only. It never sends your name, email, contacts or an identifier that follows you.

These services receive your device's IP address, as with any internet request. JoyRidr does not combine these requests, build a profile of you, show ads, or sell or share data for advertising. The JoyRidr routing server does not log request contents.
Location
JoyRidr uses your location to plan rides from where you are, give turn-by-turn directions and record your rides. With "Always" permission it keeps guiding you when the screen is off. Location is used only while you plan or ride, and stops when you end the ride.
Microphone (iPhone only)
"Phone-call mode" uses the same audio route as a phone call so your intercom plays directions over music. iOS requires microphone permission for that route. JoyRidr never records or listens to audio.
Children
JoyRidr is for licensed riders aged 18 or older. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Deleting your data
Delete individual rides and routes in the app, use About → Delete all my data, or delete the app. We hold nothing about you on our servers to delete.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
